Opt-In Text Messaging

This Text Messaging Opt-In Process outlines how Natural Nail Bar Chicago (“we,” “our,” or “us”)

obtains and manages client consent for SMS communications. Our goal is to ensure that all

communications comply with applicable privacy and telemarketing laws, including the Telephone

Consumer Protection Act (TCPA).

1. Purpose

This process ensures that all clients voluntarily agree to receive text messages from Natural Nail Bar Chicago

for scheduling, service updates, and optional promotions. Clients must provide clear consent before

receiving any non-essential communications.

2. When Clients Opt-In

Clients may opt in to receive text messages in the following ways: By clicking the "Opt-In" tab and completing Opt-In Message Registration form, providing full name and number, and replying “YES” or similar to a

consent message. By checking a consent box on digital intake form. By providing

verbal consent during an appointment (documented by staff). By initiating a conversation via SMS and

confirming consent in writing.

3. Use of Text Messages

We send text messages for the following purposes: Appointment confirmations and reminders of

Service-related updates or rescheduling. Follow-ups and thank-you messages. Exclusive offers or event

notifications (only for clients who opted into marketing)

4. Opt-Out Procedure

Clients may opt out at any time by replying “STOP” to a text message or contacting us directly.

Upon receiving an opt-out request, we will immediately remove the client’s number from our

messaging list and confirm the unsubscribe status.

5. Record keeping

We maintain basic records of client consent and opt-out requests, including: Date and method of opt-in

(e.g., text, form, in-person) Client’s name and contact number Opt-out date (if applicable) These

records ensure compliance and transparency with all messaging practices.

6. Client Consent Example

Clients may be asked to confirm the following during booking or in writing:

“I consent to receive SMS messages from Natural Nail Bar Chicago for appointment updates, confirmations,

and occasional promotions. I understand I can withdraw consent anytime by replying STOP.”
